Restoring the historical aspects of an 1800's plantation that is still in business.

Oakview Plantation was established in 1823. The plantation home is the oldest plantation home in Choctaw County and the oldest Heritage Farm plantation home in the state of Alabama. The 1,200 acres is planted in Southern Pine and it has a 2 acre pond that is home to 30 alligators. It also is home to some of the most desired deer and boars anywhere in the USA. The land is serene, peaceful, and a haven for gettaways.
